Teaching Assistant (TA) APpointments

Any high school students who needs support in a course, should use these directions to schedule help.  


HOw to make an appointment

1. Log into Canvas with your school email address (firstname.lastname@lumenscholar.org) as the username. If you've forgotten your password, click on reset password.

2. Once in Canvas, select the course you need support in.

3. Go to the MEETS button on the left side of the screen.

4. Select "appointment booking" at the top of the page.

5. Select "book appointment with" and select either the TA or the Teacher.

6. Click on time that you would like to reserve and enter the additional information then click on reserve appointment.

7. A confirmation and meeting link will be sent to your school email account.


How to cancel a booked appointment

1. Log into Canvas with your school email address.

2. Once in Canvas select the course you booked a session for.

3. Go to MEETS button on the left side of the screen.

4. Select "appointment booking" at the top of the page.

5. Select "book appointment with" and select the TA or Teacher

6. Go to your scheduled time and select "cancel this appointment."

7. A cancelation email will be sent to your school email account.
